Frequently asked questions
Photographing book pages
How does page recognition work?
You take a photo of the book page with your phone camera or pick one from the gallery. Aprendi's AI reads the text and generates exercises within 15 seconds.
Does it work with any book?
It works with any page that has readable text in Portuguese or English — textbooks, workbooks, exercises, old tests. Very blurry images or tiny print may reduce accuracy.
Do I need internet?
Yes, an internet connection is required for the AI to process the photo and generate exercises.
Does it work with handwriting?
Yes, but accuracy is better with printed text. Children's cursive can be harder to read.
Privacy and safety
Are photos stored?
No. Photos are processed to generate the exercise and discarded within 24 hours. They are never used to train public AI nor shared with third parties beyond the processing provider.
Can the child leave the app?
Not without the guardian's PIN. Child mode is locked.
Is there chat with strangers?
No. The only interlocutor inside the app is Tuca, our AI-based assistant. There is no open chat, comments, or interaction with other users.
Do you show ads to children?
Never. We do not show third-party ads to child profiles.
Aprendi Premium subscription
Is Aprendi free?
Yes, there's a free plan with a daily exercise limit. For unlimited use, subscribe to Aprendi Premium.
How do I subscribe?
Inside the app, on the subscription screen. Billing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), never directly by us.
How do I cancel?
iPhone: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Aprendi → Cancel. Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Aprendi → Cancel. You keep access until the end of the paid cycle.
Refunds?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google per their policies. For additional help, email [email protected].
Account and device
Can I use on more than one phone?
Yes — log in with the same guardian account. Children's progress syncs across devices.
I forgot my password. Now what?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password" and follow the instructions sent by email.
I want to delete my account. How?
Email [email protected]. We delete the family account within 30 days of the request, per LGPD.
Is there an Android app?
Yes, coming soon to Google Play. iOS launches first.
Content and exercises
What subjects does Aprendi cover?
Portuguese, Math, Science, History, Geography, and English. Any book with text can become an exercise.
What age range?
Designed for kids ages 6–12. Exercise difficulty adapts to the age set by the guardian.
How many kids can I register?
As many as you want. Each one has their own profile, progress, and stats.
